Programme Overview & Concept Note
Why the programme exists, what it does and how it sits within the Foundation.
The Human Dignity, Migration & Justice Programme is a cross-pillar human-rights programme of the SISTER EF LEGACY OF PURPOSE FOUNDATION NPC — Registration 2025/357025/08. It supports the Seven Pillars and does not add an eighth.
The programme accompanies refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, undocumented persons, displaced people and people involved in the justice system as they navigate documentation, detention, exploitation, xenophobia, family separation and access to lawful processes in South Africa.
Its method is simple and repeatable: listen, triage, clarify, organise, identify the appropriate route, connect or refer, follow up, and record anonymised systemic patterns.
Its guiding line is that no human being becomes invisible because of their status.
