Support a Child's School Journey

A child should not miss school for the lack of shoes, a uniform, a bag or the fee. This programme supports children in genuine need through the practical items and payments that keep them in the classroom.

What This Programme Does

Small items, whole years.

For many households a missing pair of school shoes is not a small thing — it is the reason a child stops attending. Support a Child's School Journey exists so that the practical costs of a school year do not quietly remove a child from their education. To date, school fees have been supported for five children.

How It Works

From referral to a supported school year.

  1. Step 1

    Referral

A parent, guardian, school, church or community leader refers a child in genuine need.

  2. Step 2

    Assessment

We confirm the practical items required — shoes, uniform, stationery, transport or fee support.

  3. Step 3

    Provision

Items are purchased and delivered discreetly through the school or a trusted local partner.

  4. Step 4

    Follow-through

We check that the child is attending and adjust support where needed.
