EF Legacy of Purpose Foundation
In her honor. For their tomorrow.
Founded by Nokulunga Sweetness Shabalala in memory of her mother, Elizabeth Funie Shabalala — the foundation exists to restore dignity, feed families and walk with communities through healing.
Why the Foundation Exists
A daughter's promise — turned into a movement.
Elizabeth Funie Shabalala — “EF” — lived a life marked by quiet generosity, unshakable faith and an open door. When she passed, her daughter Nokulunga made a promise: the love her mother gave freely would not end with her. The EF Legacy of Purpose Foundation is that promise made tangible.
Every parcel delivered, every girl restored, every healing conversation held — is a continuation of her legacy. We exist where pain meets purpose: meeting practical needs today, while planting seeds for generational change.
