Readiness / Prior Learning
Entry begins with prior learning, current readiness, language needs, goals and relevant evidence.
Academic pathways
EF Legacy Institute is designed for different starting points. A learner may be school-age, an adult returning to study or someone moving between curricula. Entry and progression are based on verified readiness and programme requirements, not a one-size-fits-all age assumption.
Entry begins with prior learning, current readiness, language needs, goals and relevant evidence.
Foundation-stage study can be used where a learner needs structured preparation before upper-secondary qualifications. Cambridge Checkpoint assessment arrangements are treated as a separate verified assessment requirement where applicable; they are not presented as a standalone EF Legacy qualification.
Upper-secondary study is planned around the learner's verified route, subject readiness and programme availability.
Learners may progress into deeper subject specialisation where entry requirements are met.
Advanced study supports later higher-education or career progression, subject to programme and examination requirements.
Progression planning connects academic study to realistic next-step options without inventing recognition claims.
Adults and returning learners do not need a separate second-class education experience. Prior learning, current goals and subject readiness determine the appropriate route.
