EF Legacy International Online School · working review edition 1.0 · 5 October 2026
Three opening six-week samples contain learning intentions, teacher modelling, original learner tasks, worked answers or local rubrics, support/extension and evidence-led feedback. They are not complete qualification courses. Each future teacher must build the remaining programme and obtain academic review.
Proposed lesson pattern: retrieve prior knowledge, model a process, guide practice, observe independent work and use an exit response to plan the next lesson. A future class can collaborate through teacher-approved channels; this review pack itself collects no learner data.
For every proposed subject, record the exam-year syllabus, all required content, sequence, lesson resources, assessment checkpoints, support adaptations, teacher capacity and examination arrangements. The three samples cover only opening units. The wider official catalogue is not a list of subjects the school can already deliver.
Proposed mission for adoption: make education a disciplined practice of understanding, applying, questioning and communicating, with dignity for each learner and responsibility for evidence. Learners should be able to explain a method, test a claim, improve their work and seek support without humiliation.
Required accountable roles: governing body/founder, academic principal, academic coordinator, registrar, subject teachers, assessors/moderators, student support, safeguarding lead/deputy, EdTech lead, finance administrator and admissions officer. A role chart is not a staff appointment; named verified role-holders are still needed.
Review school improvement monthly during launch preparation: one concrete gap, accountable role, evidence to collect, action and review date. After launch, use genuine attendance, assessed work, moderation and support evidence rather than platform activity alone.
Read all 32 policy working drafts, version 0.2. They now include operational procedures, accountable roles, required records and review triggers. None is represented as approved or legally certified. Adoption, named responsibility and appropriate professional review remain required.
There are no verified school staff records. For each appointment obtain authentic identity, CV, qualifications, references, professional registrations where required, subject competence and teaching/leadership experience. Complete applicable child-protection/criminal checks and induction before child-facing work. Store private evidence in the staff vault, not this public pack.
Prepare a workload calculation from actual timetable, preparation, marking, support and communication time. Learner capacity must follow that calculation; this pack does not promise a seat count or teaching capacity.
A CPD record needs a goal, genuine activity, participation evidence and an application review. A written development plan is not evidence that training has taken place.
The three sample packs are original EF Legacy materials. Official Cambridge syllabus PDFs are linked at their source and have not been republished here. No Cambridge endorsement, restricted support-hub access, textbook licence, reseller authorisation or digital distribution agreement is claimed.
External examination arrangements require an actual centre, current subject and series coverage, private-candidate acceptance where appropriate, accessibility arrangements, fees and written confirmation. No centre or candidate entry has been manufactured. South Africa-specific administrative zone and entry options remain pending confirmation.
This index maps prepared design to the 26 current Cambridge preparation requirements. Most records remain in progress; appointment, budget, legal approval and real control-test evidence remain action items. Internal review does not substitute for a regulator decision.
Authoritative process: online-school registration standards, application process and approval visit. Preparation must address actual leadership, teaching, online provision and local authorisation, not just public pages.

The EF Legacy Foundation and commercial entity remain separate. The public self-study courses are free and no school fees are activated. School budgets require actual staffing, licensing, platform, support and external exam costs; no invented income or unfunded commitment is included.
Commercial service delivery now has an owner task workflow, customer updates and completion evidence. Existing finance mappings, seller commission tiers and creator royalty economics remain drafts requiring genuine review and agreements. Foundation tax treatment and donation deductibility are not inferred from a payment connection.
